The Research Partnership Emerging Markets team wanted to share a series of infographics that provided an overview of each region that they covered. By encouraging downloads, the team hoped that new leads would be generated for conducting research projects in those market regions.

The team provided their data in an Excel sheet. Reading through the stats, I grouped each stat into buckets – total population, average population demographics, healthcare market size, and healthcare expenditure statistics.
From here, I looked to see how best to visualise each number, such as showing the vast difference in China’s population compared to the other four markets of focus with multiple person outlines, each one representing 20 million people, to make this as immediately obvious to the viewer as possible, or using doughnut charts to compare the percentage of internet and smartphone users in each country.
